Emerging Angel

Cosme Herrera is a Cuban sculptor born and raised in Havana, based in Austin, TX. USA. He began as a wood carver in the Havana area in late 1998. Using his background in woodworking, he started off by carving and exhibiting his first sculptures at the Malecon Art Fair. , his life anew provided him with the chance of easing into the woodcarving world during his free time. Then in 2022, he decided to create his professional profile on Instagram to show his creative work to the world. He got great experience by exhibiting his first miniature sculpture in the 2022 Far Away Places (Online Exhibition) at Las laguna Art Gallery, Laguna Beach, California, in order to explore contemporary and fine art visual culture - regionally, nationally and internationally, through unique collaborations between artists, students and the community. One year later, Cosme Herrera managed to run up his presence with all humility at the 2023 Firenze Contemporary Group Show at the Rossocinabro Gallery, in Rome, Italy, where every participating artist have ahead of the overflowing and extraordinary past and history of this city. This majestic event is just a taste of what artists like Cosme Herrera will offer in 2023.

This one has a little more to it. It is kind of one-dimensional

dimensional once you see it from the front. That is 

part of the judgment. In a couching comfortable. At

the bottom of the base. That represents all the

dreams crush. Now. When you si it from the back. It is

plain, simple, ugly, unknown, and flat. That are the two

faces of when we judge or have been judged. We only see

what’s on the surface. Never see all angles.

I'm very lucky to be doing what I love as my profession. This job allows me to travel and meet interesting new people all the time. I hope we are able to work together soon!
